According to Maryland law, it is illegal for a person – other than an authorized dispenser such as a pharmacy – to distribute or sell a controlled substance, or possess a controlled substance in a sufficient quantity to reasonably indicate an intention to distribute the substance. There is a substantial difference between simple possession and possession with intent. What are the Penalties for Drug Possession with Intent to Sell in Maryland?
